Managing notifications and newsletters

You can get notified via email about several events related to your Bikemap account.
The Bikemap newsletter informs you about special offers, discounts and the latest Bikemap news. 

Activating notifications & signing up for the newsletter

cb863eee-1ae3-4e35-b2f1-677fb4d0be67.png You can manage the notifications you receive from Bikemap in your profile settings on the website. Check the boxes of the notifications you want to receive via email.

You can receive news about the following user activities:

  • New comment on one of your routes
  • New rating on one of your routes
  • New comment on your profile
  • Route Suggestions

Furthermore, you can decide whether you would like to subscribe to the Bikemap newsletter or not.

  • Go to your profile tab
  • Click on "edit" at the top next to your username
  • Switching on the toggle located at the bottom of the screen and press "Save"

android@2x.png You can subscribe to the newsletter and other updates from within the Android app by:

  • Go to your profile tab
  • Go to your profile settings by clicking on the wheel cog in the top right of the screen
  • Switching on the "Newsletter and Offers" toggle 

 

Deactivating notifications & unsubscribing from the newsletter

If you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter you can either uncheck the box in the notification settings or you can click the "unsubscribe from this list" link at the bottom of each newsletter.
