Logging in to my Bikemap account

You need to be logged in to your account to make best use of Bikemap's many features.
The way to log in to your account will differ depending on the way you initially signed up to Bikemap. 

This article will outline the four different ways to log in to your account.
Additionally, you can find instructions on how to log out at the bottom of the article.

Logging in with your email address

The way to do this varies slightly depending on whether you're logging in via the app or the website. 

Website

1. Click on "Log in" to get to the login/sign up screen.
2. Type your email address into the text box and press “Continue”.
3. A window will appear that says "Welcome back!"
4. Enter your password and hit "Log in".

App

1. Open up the app and click "Profile" and then "Log in".
2. From here, tap the grey mail icon ().
3. Type in your email address (or username) and press "Continue".
4. Enter your password and click "Log in" () or "Continue" ().

If you get asked to set a password and username, then there is no Bikemap account linked to the email address you entered. Double check the email address or follow these instructions to sign up at Bikemap.

Logging in with your Apple ID

The way to do this varies slightly depending on which device you are logging in on.

iOS app

1. Open up the app and click "Profile" and then "Log in".
2. Press the "Sign in with Apple" button.
3. Sign in to your Apple ID. This will require either your password, fingerprint or use facial recognition.
4. You will then be logged in.

 Website and Android app

1. Navigate to the login page.
2. Press the black Apple icon (). 
3. This will redirect you to the Apple ID login page where you will need to enter your Apple ID and password. 
4. Click "Continue" and you will be logged in.
   
   

Logging in with your Google account

This varies slightly depending on whether you're signing up via the Android app or our iOS app and website. 

Android app

1. Open up the app and click "Profile" and then "Log in".
2. Press "Continue with Google".
3. Sign in or select your Google account.
4. You will then be logged in. 

 Website and iOS app

1. Navigate to the login page.
2. Press the red Google icon ().
3. This will redirect you to the Google login page where you will need to sign in to or choose your Google account.
4. You will then be redirected back to the app and be successfully logged in.
   
   

Logging in with your Facebook account

1. Open up the app and click "Profile" and then "Log in".
2. Press the blue Facebook icon ().
3. This will redirect you to Facebook’s login page. 
4. Login to Facebook and press "Continue".
5. You will then be successfully logged in.
   
   

Logging out

App

1. Tap the "Profile" tab.
2. Tap the gear wheel in the top right hand corner of the screen to open the settings page.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and press "Sign Out".

Website

1. Click on your profile icon in the top right hand corner of the screen to open the drop down menu.
2. Click "Log Out" at the bottom of the list.
