Battery Saving Mode

This article will explain how to turn on battery saving mode whilst recording or navigating. It is a great way to help your phone battery go the extra mile when out on a ride. 

Activating Manually

You can activate battery saving mode when recording or navigating a ride

Activating During Recording & Self-Guided Navigation

To do this:

1. Press the 3 dots in the bottom left of the bike computer
2. Press 'Battery Save Mode'
3. To turn it off you should follow the same process

Activating During Turn-By-Turn Navigation

To do this: 

1. Swipe the bottom sheet up
2. Turn the battery save mode toggle to on
3. To turn if off you should follow the same process

Activating Automatically

You can also adjust your preferences in your settings so battery saving mode is activated automatically based on your device's status. To do this:

1. Go to your profile
2. Go to the settings by pressing the cog wheel in the top right
3. Click on 'Battery Save Mode' under preferences 
4. Choose 'Use Device Setting'

This will then automatically enable battery saving mode during navigation and recording when your device's low power mode is active. Low power mode is an apple feature. You can find more about this here.
