3D route preview (iOS)

With Bikemap's 3D route preview you can get an all-round impression of a route. Using augmented reality technology, the route appears in a three-dimensional view on your display. This makes it possible to see the course of the route as more than just a 2D flat line.

To display a route in the 3D route preview, follow these steps:

1. Select a route in the Bikemap app for iOS. (It doesn't matter if the route was created by yourself or by another Bikemap user.)
2. In the detailed view of the route, tap the button "3D" at the top of the screen (You may need to give the Bikemap app permission to access the camera of your iOS device).
3. Ideally point the camera onto a flat surface to get the best possible "augmented reality" view of the route.
