Using Bikemap with my Apple Watch
Bikemap is compatible with the Apple Watch. Learn how to connect your iPhone with your Apple Watch and how to use Bikemap on your Apple Watch in this article.

Pairing your Apple Watch with your iPhone
To use Bikemap on your Apple Watch, you need to pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone. Proceed as follows:
- Put your Apple Watch on your wrist and turn it on.
- Download the Bikemap app from the App Store on your Apple Watch.
- Open Bikemap on your Apple Watch and log in to your account on your phone. The two devices should then sync automatically.
Using your Apple Watch, you can easily track your ride without having to take your phone with you.
Please note: you cannot receive turn-by-turn navigation instructions for a route. The Apple Watch can only track your ride and display a few important stats.

Recording a route with the Apple Watch
To record your ride, start recording on your phone or tap on the start button on your watch. The recording will start on both devices. During your ride, your Apple Watch acts as a bike computer and informs you about the duration of your ride, your speed, your heart rate and the distance you have ridden.
To end your ride, either press end on the phone or swipe right on the Apple Watch and press end recording.

Uploading your route from the Apple Watch to your iPhone
Once you finish your ride, it will automatically be uploaded to your recorded routes folder as long as your phone is nearby and turned on. If your phone is not on or nearby, it will stay in the Apple Watch recorded routes list (which can be accessed by swiping left on the start screen) until your phone re-syncs. After re-syncing happens, the route will be seamlessly uploaded to the phone and disappear from the watch list.
